National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day “Share Knowledge! Take Action” is an annual observance to recognize the impact of HIV on women and girls. Every year on March 10, and throughout the month of March, thousands of people, advocacy organizations, and local and state public health officials host events and share facts about HIV/AIDS. This year Miracle of Love decided to host our 1st annual event “Rock the Red Pumps” to recognize National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day.
The SMART Ride began as a dream to create a bicycle event where 100% of pledges raised could go back to the communities to be used for direct services. That was over eight years ago, and so far $4.1 million dollars have been raised. 100% has been given back to the communities we serve to assist with direct services for individuals infected or affected by HIV/AIDS.
